Over the past year or so, I've successfully loaded photoshop element 8 (XP) on my computer. Every time I do I get an error 150:30 the next time I try to use the program.

I've tried everything (deleted the program and reinstalled, Adobe support advisor, etc, etc.) the software just doesn't work properly. It is obviously defective. I would not recommend this program to anyone.

Have you had a look at the following document: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/512/cpsid_51260.html. It explains how to resolve the error. Let us know if it solves your problem.

I just checked my notes and I ran this license recovery back in October. It worked then and it worked now. Why do I have to keep running this file every time I use the program?

I have noticed that I'm getting notices to update adobe every two weeks or so. This is annoying and I'm wondering why so often? It's probably messing up my set up for these programs.

Topcat47a are you using any type of anti-virus software or system utilities?  It is possible that permissions continue to get affected on the Flexnet Publisher licensing service folder.  You could try solution 4 next time you encounter the difficulty to help confirm this.
