Hi there,

I have a surface pro 3 with only 64 gb space on my hdd. Bought an SD-card (64 gb) quite quick/rapid - and wonder if it is possible to install the creative cloud on this? As I am a newbee, I would be very thankful for a step by step guiide. Thanks a lot

Hi Nilsson,

unfortunately, Creative Cloud Apps can't be installed on removable flash storage devices (such as SD-cards).

Kind Regards,
Maurice

Actually you can do it in window 10, I just did it.

The secret is to mount the SD card as part of your C: drive file system.

Be aware that if you do this you should not pull the card except when you are shut down as you are basically lying to windows and telling  it that its a permanent drive.

Steps:

(1) Create an empty folder somewhere on C as your mount point (I put it in C:\Links\SDCard)
(2) Go into the disk manager
(3) right click on the SD card partition and select "change drive letters and path"
(4) Click "add" in the dialog that comes up and browse to your mount point

After that you will be able to access it through your mount point and CC wont realize its an SD card.
