Premiere and all Creative Cloud Apps Won't Open

Hi,

None of my creative cloud apps are opening. The starting animation for Premiere isn't opening at all. The animation for After Effects and Photoshop starts but freezes before it all loads.

When I open Creative Cloud it says that "Creative Cloud seems to be taking longer than usual to initialize. To fix this, relaunch Creative Cloud by clicking here, or restart your computer and try again." Nothing happns when I click 'here' and I've restarted my computer several times to no avail.

I'm not sure what the issue is, as I opened both Premiere and After Effects 30 hours ago with no problem.

Any help is appreciated! Thank you so much!

hi,

see if you can uninstall the cc programs (and then the cc desktop app) using your control panel.

if you can, then clean per step 3 above and continue through the steps.

if you cannot, using a browser that allows popups and cookies,  contact adobe support during pst business hours by clicking here and, when available, click 'chat', http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/service-ccm.html

Hi Kglad,

Thank you for your reply! So, I tried to do the first step and uninstall all the apps through cc; BUT I cannot because creative cloud itself won't open. I attached an image to show you what it's doing. The "here" button doesn't work either.

So, I can't even uninstall the apps because creative cloud can't open?!

Please let me know what I should do! Thank you!

uninstall everything cc including preferences, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html

then uninstall the cc desktop app, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html

clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

restart your computer (don't skip this)

reinstall the cc desktop app, https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud.

if you're unable to install the cc desktop app at this stage, use an administrator account (solution 3 here, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/creative-cloud-missing-damaged.html)

use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials
