Premiere keeps crashing and lines appear on screen! Please help!!

Hi,

I have a (BIG) issue with my Adobe/Premiere Pro. The first one being lines appearing on my screen (see attached). I spoke to Apple several times, even brought it in for repair but they found nothing wrong and ultimately said it is 100% Adobe's fault.

But the most annoying part is that the programme also keeps crashing! At least once a day. I have the latest update of Adobe/ Premiere and iOS.

I have 16GB of RAM, the laptop is a 3 months old Macbook Pro. I also have a 6 year old Macbook Pro at home with 8GB and this has never happened to that!

Please help!!

Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB

16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

2.2 GHz Intel Core i7

disable GPU usage during playback (or render) go to File>Project Settings>General. Set the Renderer to Mercury Playback Software Only
