Problems installing photoshop and premier elements 2018

I have purchased photoshop elements and premier elements 2018 on disk. I install both. At the end of installation of each a pop up box opens. It says installation complete and also says some items could not be installed successfully. Why does this happen? The box refers to the error report but when I click this it is empty.

    This error "installation complete and also says some items could not be installed successfully" means that the software installed successfully however few of the components could not be installed.

    To resolve this please use the CC Cleaner tool to remove the software completely and then reinstall it: Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems.

    You may also try downloading the products from here and try installing them: Download Photoshop Elements | 2018, 15, and 14  , Download Adobe Premiere Elements | 2018, 15, and 14.

    Thank you for your response Nancy but I am not looking for sales recommendations.  I am looking for help to fix the program.  I get where you coming from however I do not wish to spend more money at this time if I can help it.  When I bought the program it was a one time purchase and I think it is just greed that adobe now gives you only a 3 year licence.  As long as the program features and functions works for me I do not wish to buy something else.  The challenge is to get it working again.

    I can get  2015 version to be functional with only few bugs (every time I want to save it does not allow me to save same file name, ie replace file, more updated file.) however the 2018 version has some features I like to use.  the program worked perfectly one day then stopped after a windows update.  That update also affected other programs but they are now working again, once I removed the update.

    The problem is something is preventing the program from fully loading without an error.
