Problems with Illustrator latest update

Hey everybody.

Adobe's released a correction patch for exporting issues inside Illustrator recently. Everything runs smoothly up to 90% of the updating process, but then an error prevents its conclusion. "Unable to move the file. Rename the file and try again." (That's a free translation from my set language). Clicking on "More", I get to a web page with the following:

Exit Code: 146

-------------------------------------- Summary --------------------------------------

- 2 fatal error(s), 0 error(s), 1 warnings(s)

FATAL: Error (Code = 146) executing in command 'MoveFileCommand' for package: 'AdobeIllustrator22-Core', version:22.0.1.253

FATAL: Error occurred in install of package (Name: AdobeIllustrator22-Core Version: 22.0.1.253). Error code: '146'

WARN: Unable to move file at "C:\adobeTemp\ETR4D68.tmp\2\StagingArea_x64\Application\Support Files\Contents\Windows\CRWindowsClientService.exe" to "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator CC 2018\Support Files\Contents\Windows\CRWindowsClientService.exe" Error 5 Acesso negado.. Try setting correct permissions to the specified file/folder or parent folder, so that admin has rights to modify it.

According to this Adobe Help page, I need to do exactly what the error itself already tells me: rename and try again. Thing is that I really don't know what file it refers to. So, if any of you guys could help me out with that issue, it'd be great, since I've been unable to use Illustrator.

Thanks in advance.

Hey kanikas!

Thanks for placing my issue in the right place once more.

As for Adobe Community Staff in general, I'd like to ask you guys to be a little bit more considerate and don't check unsolved user's problems as solved ones. You know, people could even think you don't really care about our feedback on CC.

Hey kglad!

Thanks for your support.

I've checked the help page you linked and tried every possible solution there, but none of them worked properly.

Carolina_2 thank you for the feedback. Your discussion was previously marked as correct as a solution had been offered and there had not been an additional updates.

Thanks for your answer, Jeff. Also, I must apologize for sounding a bit rude or harsh in my last update.

I'll be in touch with Adobe Support Team as soon as I can and update the thread. I've been very low on time and different time zones doesn't help it either.

Thank you everybody.
