Problems with install of CS4 Master Collection on Mac (running Yosemite). Download seems to go OK but nothing will Install.

I'm trying to install CS4 Master Collection onto my other computer (Mac Air) and can not get it to work. Download seems to go OK, but the Install part is where I'm having a hang up.  I've got my serial #s Adobe Creative Suite Premium (from 2007 - yikes!) and CS4 Master Collection. Any suggestions on how to download this or any other options?

Long story short... I finally got it to work, thanks Jeff.  I had originally downloaded the CS4 Master Collection but it wasn't installing correctly.... I finally all of the old stuff uninstalled and then was able to successfully install the Master Collection.

Mystery solved!

Hey Jeff -

You are correct that is the error when I go to open the program. I do not receive any installation error messages when attempting to install from "ADBESTAMCS4_LS1.dmg"

I downloaded the CS6 but my serial numbers do not work for those.  As mentioned previously I have (for Mac):

- Adobe Creative Suite Premium (Version 2)

- Master Collection (CS4)

Spooo34 do you receive any specific error messages when you try to install?

Below is a screenshot of the error message, along with the path that lead me there.  (top left, bottom left, top right, bottom right)  I may very well not be doing something correct in the set-up process.  When I do the initial install, it goes through and completes within probably 15 seconds, so something must be wrong.  The file I downloaded via the Adobe site was titled "ADBESTAMCS4_LS1.dmg"

Thanks for any assistance!

Spoo34 I under that tis the error message you receive when you open the program.  Have you removed and reinstalled your Creative Suite 6 software?  If you need a fresh copy of the installation files they are available at Download CS6 products.

Please make sure to utilize the uninstallers located in the Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers folder to remove the software.
