For some reason Adobe Updater suggested an update to my perpetual licenced copy of PS CS6.  Having run this, PS has nowe become a trail of Extended and both dreamweaver CS6 and illustrator CS are alos trials where before they were perpetual licences.

How do I undo this as I want nothing to do with the cloud at all.

Havign had this problem I would also now like to switch off the automatic adobe updater - again, how is this done?

Thanks,

Dave

Dave when you open the software in trial mode there will be an option to License this Software.  Please choose this option and enter in your Adobe ID and serial number for your perpetual version.

Jeff,

Many thanks for reply which i will try when I am back on PC.  What I still do not understand is why this has happened?  Has Adobe actually upgraded me to PS CS6 Extended for no charge?  I most certainly do not wish to buy this version!!  I come from the old school that does not believe anything in life is free - there is a catch somewhere!!

Thanks again,

Dave

The trial version of Photoshop is always the Extended version so that why you're seeing it (since it's in Trial mode).

When you enter your serial number to license it on your computer, Photoshop will recognise that it's the Extended or Standard version and will unlock the appropriate features for you.
