I sign in and download, the software takes a while to download then makes some folder on my desktop ( i told it to save there) then a black box comes up saying "Error: Please press quit then restart computer, then try again" so thats what I do, then reinstall, and it says, same thing again

Do you have XP with Service Pack 3 installed?

You'll need it to run Photoshop.
