By way of preface, I have Acrobat DC installed.  In the last few days each time I attempt to open a pdf document I get an "Update Required" message.  It tells me to update my operating system, which I do. But that doesn't cure the problem.  Tried talking to someone at Adobe and got hung up on for my troubles.  So I hope someone can help me.

An additur to what I reported originally.  I attempted to download and reinstall Acrobat DC and I keep getting a No Internet Connection message.  I clearly have an internet connection or I would not be able to post this message.

Thank you for responding. I finally got through to someone at Adobe, who
took control of my computer and spent 15-20 minutes getting things fixed.
Apparently, what the error message (which had been saying I needed to
update my Win 10 OS) was actually attempting to tell me that I needed to
download and install the most recent version of Acrobat Pro DC (which I had
assumed was regularly/automatically updated per my subscription) and that
required using a different browser (Edge instead of Firefox) and
downloading/installing a "special" installer file.

Seriously! Again thanks for responding.
