This worked great for me too! I have had to do it 4 times now though. It seems to happen every couple weeks. Has this happened to anyone else?

Same Issue, Every 2 to 3 days I have a problem with creative cloud, (Mac Mini 2014, 8 GB Ram, 1 TB including 500 GB free) and this since the transition from Mojave to Catalina, but the problems have increased in frequency from Catalina in Bigsur and more, I don't know who to blame Apple or Adobe at $79 per month where I spend 45 min of re-installation or 45 min, if Adobe cloud does not block, it's a problem of re-installation because there is a error the program and visiblemnet is corrupted and we reinstall and it works for 3 days or it is Monterey which blocks during the installation and the computer restarts, it is extremely frustrating and I am sure that it is Apple or Adobe, they have the information what do they do nothing ..... I remind Adobe I am given for my part $79 per month.

I've realized it happens every time my mac restarts. Anyone else experiencing this? It's very frustrating.

does the solution work every time?  if so, your computer is restoring those file permissions/security profile.

    Hi,

I have done the first 2 suggestions. I am currently able to use my Adobe applications, but each move I make starts the spinning wheel for 5-10 seconds. I am very frustrated because it's really slowing me down.

Do you if a total factory reset could help? Is that a thing?

    Thank you,

    Maggie

@msage1026, you see a spinning wheel when doing anything in all the cc applications?

if so, and your computer is not under-powered to run the cc applications:

reset the cc desktop app: make sure it's in the foreground, then press:

    Win: Ctrl + Alt + R
    Mac: Cmd + Opt + R

if that fails, try to repair
    https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-install-stuck.html

if that fails go ahead and uninstall using the correct uninstaller from https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html#sa_src=web-messaging and then reinstall

if that fails, do a clean cc install following each applicable step:

uninstall every cc app including preferences, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html

then uninstall the cc desktop app, again using the correct uninstaller, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html#sa_src=web-messaging

clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

check for, and if available, update your os

restart your computer (don't skip this)

reinstall the cc desktop app, https://creativecloud.adobe.com/apps/all/desktop?action=install&source=apps&productId=creative-cloud

if you're unable to download the cc desktop app at this stage, use the "alternative download links" at the bottom of the page at https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-desktop-app-download.html

use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials
