Re: High CPU usage from Adobe's Genuine Software Integrity Service

Same problem. Looks like it keeps accessing this file:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe PCD\cache\cache.db

Which appears to be some sort of database for license keys.

I’m guessing, because I have other adobe products installed, one of Adobe’s updates changed something and CS3 is no longer compatible with newer products.

edit:

Uninstalling CS3 did not help. I had to uninstall all my adobe products. Delete the C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe directory and then reinstall my newer adobe products. At this point I don't want to waste any more of my time, so I won't try to reinstall CS3 in addition.
