Is the Abode serial number for Adobe DC pro per machine?  I'd like to download onto another machine - do I need to buy another subscription?  I pay the $14.95 per month

serial numbers are for perpetually licensed products.  most adobe programs are now subscription.

with serial numbers: you're allowed, up to, two concurrent activations (on two different computers).  if you want to activate on a 3rd computer, you must deactivate (help>deactivate) on one of the other two.

with subscriptions: you can install the cc desktop app from here https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud  on as many computers as you own and use it to install all (or some, if you want) your cc subscriptions.  the only (insignificant for internet connect computers) limitation is that you can sign-in (and therefore start your adobe programs) on, at most, two computers at any one time.

because you can sign out from the two signed-in computers using a 3rd computer, this could not (imo) be easier.
