Re: Registration CS3 wiht new serial number

I am having the same problem. I received a new serial number, uninstalled my original CS3 (Design Premium), downloaded and installed the files Adobe supplied, and got the same error message from Adobe when I opened Photoshop. When I clicked on Re-activate, I got the same second error message. How do I go about entering my new serial number so I don't lose the software? I can verify all of this, but can't figure out how to attach files here. And I don't want to attach an image of my new serial number...I'm obviously not very tech-savvy, so please be patient with me.

Thank you! I tried this twice, and for some reason it only worked the second time. There was no cache.db on my computer under Adobe. There was a file name, but when I tried to delete it, I was told that the file did not exist there. I then searched the entire hard drive, and found no others.

    Anyway, thank you very much!
