Hey

I just bought a student licence on another website, so I need to put a redemption code to prove that license is valid and to actually download the creative cloud. However when I put the code it says "This code is from a country or region that does not match your Adobe ID". I bought the licence from a Dutch website, so I tried changing my adobe account to the Netherlands but it doesn't seem to make any difference. Anyone has encountered that problem before?

Go back to the Dutch website and ask for a refund. You can't use their redemption code with your Adobe ID.

Adobe support cannot help you with another company's redemption code.

If you want a student discount, why not buy it directly from Adobe?

You get approx 60% off the first year and 40% off thereafter until you cancel or graduate.

Based on reading similar questions, if you live in country A you are not allowed to use a code from country B
