Hi everyone,

I bought Photoshop elements in 2019. I changed laptop and I would now like to reinstall it on my new computer.
I proceed with the download from my account area but I am not able open to launch the software because it is corrupted, that is what it said. I have repeated the download and installation a couple of times already but the message is always the same.
Elements on the old pc is not running.

Any idea?

Thanks

Marta

I believe you would need to upgrade to Elements 2022 or 2023.

Does it say it's corrupted, exactly, or something else like "cannot check for malicious software"? What is your macOS version on the new Air? If it's Catalina or later you can't run older apps.

Did you download the DMG for Mac and not the EXE for Windows?

According to the system requirements, Elements 2019 is compatible with macOS 10.12 - 10.14 on a non-case-sensitive file volume.

If all else fails, you could try the latest version free for 30 days.  The latest will run on Apple Silicon M1 chip as well as macOS 11, 12 and higher.

Hope that helps.
