Purchased a new MacBook Pro. Unable to find download for already purchased CS6 suite. Please advise
Hi John --
To which link are you referring that doesn't have the CS6 downloads? I don't want to give the wrong advice.
The Pro Design link I posted Download Adobe CS6 Trials: Direct Links (no Assistant or Manager) | ProDesignTools still works. It has the download links for Mac and Windows, and they are functional -- as does the link you posted. So I'm also not clear why the OP is having such difficulty.

JERRY: That did not help. I have a registered product. Serial Number shows up in the my plans and product info but does not show under my orders. Directs me to add the serial/reg number which then goes through a loop of sites that do not show how to rectify it. Thanks ROBERT

Normally if you have a valid serial number, you can download a trial and activate the trial product with your serial number. You do not need to first input the serial to do the download. The trial can be downloaded from the first site I posted. Just go to that site, choose the product you bought, and download it. At installation you will be asked for a serial number.
If your serial number does not work, you may have to deal directly with Adobe customer service Contact Customer Care
Or you can try to troubleshoot it yourself at Troubleshoot launch issues, problems | CS6, CS5.5, CS5
There is also the question of system requirements, as CS6 is an older version. I do not know the OS of your new Macbook Pro, so cannot address whether it satisfies the system requirements for CS6, but the Adobe site lists Mac OS X v10.6.8, v10.7, or v10.8.

JERRY: I cannot find any link to download CS6. If you find the specific link, please let me know. I am familiar now with all the other links you sent. Thanks ROBERT

‌Adobe recently removed the CS6 link from the main downloads page that Jerry provided a link to. I've no idea why. It's been useful for a couple of years. Adobe tweaked the page, removed the CS6 link and confused people. Seems lke a backward step to me but anyway.
However, googling "adobe cs6 download" gives you

JOHN: Thanks. I have been directed to this exact page numerous times thru my searches. However, it tells one everything BUT how to download. Very frustrating to say the least. In any case, thanks for trying. ROBERT

You click to download the installer for your operating system.
Install then enter your serial number.
That's it.
Do you have your CS6 serial number?

Jerry,
The ProDesignTools link is fine. Robert seems to have moved on from (or overlooked) that link.
Robert was trying to find the CS6 link on the Adobe download page
Download and Installation Help | Download and Installation Help
However Adobe recently removed the CS6 link from that page. I've no idea why. I'm guessing that they deem CS6 to still be current (not an "older version").

JOHN:: Many thanks for your patience with me. I guess I did not scroll down far enough when you first sent the link to me. Including the graphic of the table really helped. I used it successfully. I guess Adobe does not want to make it easy for someone to download the old program Again, many thanks. ROBERT
