Rolling Back to CS4 Design Premium

Community Beginner ,

Hi,

I am trying to reinstall my 2 Disc Version of CS4 Design Premium but I keep on getting a blank Installer Alert when I'm on disc one, it installs unto ¾ of the progress bar but then the blank box shows up with nothing other then Installer Alert in the title bar. Having searched I see this is a common problem - however none of the solutions have worked out for me yet.

Have found one that say to download the CS4 suite and install from the downloads

I've visited this link

Download Adobe Creative Suite 4 (CS4) products

But it won't proceed to download anything.

I have a full retail version of CS4 DP (it's not a student version either)

A bit stuck, any ideas?

Many thanks

Okay,

So somehow I managed to re partition my SSD and install a backup of my system from El Capitan and have now managed to get the CS4 suite installed...

Thanks to those who contributed to this.

Kind regards

Thanks,

I have some of my original CS4 install still on my system and it work Illustrator for example...

As far as I can find out this isn’t a High Sierra issuein total (not saying that the support problem wont be a factor) but it’s happening to anyone who reinstalls CS4 - it gives that blank installer alert if you atempt to reinstall

I’d like to roll back my operating system but as HS uses a new file format system you can‘t just install Yosemite over the top of it and as far as I can tell the re-install blank installed alert will still come up no matter what OS is active...
