Runtime Error 217

When I open Lightroom I get a pop up saying Runtime error 217 at 500 E 8338. It will pop up several times before Lightroom finally opens. Does anyone have any idea?

Mac or Windows, and EXACTLY which version of the operating system?

Recent Mac AND Windows operating systems have been known to cause "odd" problems

Are you using a computer Administrator account with full read/write permission?

Exactly which version of the program do you have that is causing problems?

Runtime error is typically a problem with Windows not Adobe. Here is Microsoft's information about runtime errors for Windows 7: What is a runtime error? - Windows Help​.
