Rush - part of the photography plan?

Why does the creative cloud app say that Premier Rush is part of my photography subscription?

I installed it and spent time using it to only find out at export time that it is in fact a trial and that I would need to pay extra to continue to use it. Poor show Adobe, that is underhand.

Well, sorry for not understanding.
Please refer to this site.
As you can see, the Photography Plan does not include Premiere Rush.

https://www.adobe.com/creativecloud/photography.html

To be sure, when you look at the display of the Creative Cloud desktop app, it seems to be misunderstood.

Since the Rush starter plan is a slightly different plan from a trial, it may be displayed in the application items included in the subscription.

John, was she able to create a video? You said "she lost several hours of work" – but the Starter Plan does give 100% free usage for three free video exports from the desktop version of Rush:

That should be enough to create 3 different video projects... And when using the Premiere Rush mobile app, it's unlimited.

This plan allows you to download and use Premiere Rush on desktop, iOS, and Android devices.

With this plan, you can shoot, edit, and share unlimited videos on mobile, and export three videos in Premiere Rush on desktop."

So while it is not the full unrestricted version of Premiere Rush and that should be made clearer, it is arguably not "useless" either.

"Should be clearer". Indeed!

Look at the various screen shots in the comments. If Adobe would simply add the words, "Starter Plan", to the product description, and include a description of what's included in the Starter Plan it would save their Photography Plan customers a lot of grief.

Yes, agree that would probably be best.

This is primarily a user-to-user forum, but you can express your feedback directly to Adobe here:

LATEST

Update:  Adobe removed the 3-export limit on all platforms (both for Rush desktop and mobile) in October 2021... The free Starter version of Rush has no time expiration either.

We've been trying to get Adobe to fix this error for many months. No response, so I'm trying a new approach. I clicked on the "Report" icon for the original post and sent the following message to the forum moderator.

""Correct" answer is incorrect. Please read all of the comments and correct the misleading information that Adobe provides via the Creative Cloud app."

I hope this gets Adobe's attention.

To clarify terms, as a Creative Cloud trial member, you get to TRY many apps but they are NOT included in your paid subscription plan.

FREE Membership includes access to these services (see screenshot):

Source: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/benefits-creative-cloud-free-membership.htmlSource: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/benefits-creative-cloud-free-membership.html

The paid CC Photography Plan is a deeply discounted bundle of software & online services which includes:

-- Photoshop CC and Photoshop on iPad
-- Lightroom on desktop, mobile and the web
-- Lightroom Classic
-- Portfolio website + hosting
-- Spark with premium features
-- Bridge
-- 20 GB cloud storage (upgradable to 1 TB).
https://www.adobe.com/creativecloud/photography.html

So a FREE membership + a paid membership = all of the above.

The Creative Cloud All Apps plan includes approx 31 + apps & services for one low monthly price for 12 months.  Or a slightly higher one-month-at-a-time price for people who don't need it for a full year.

If you have further questions about your plan or what it includes, please feel free to contact an Adobe Customer Care agent via phone or online chat.

Adobe listened to users and responded on another thread here:

https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-rush-discussions/rush-included-or-not-included-in-photograph...

Now, Premiere Rush no longer appears under "Available in your plan" – but rather further down under "Apps to try"... This is a significant improvement and helps make things clearer.

OK, there were some important changes made last week, so here's the latest messaging from Adobe about Premiere Rush and the Photography plan:

"That's right! We've added premium access to Premiere Rush and Photoshop Express to all plans that included Spark premium. There won't be any changes to the cost of your subscription. Let us now if you need any help getting started with PsX or Rush!"

These additions apply only to current/existing customers in order to replace Spark premium, which was removed from the Photography and single-app plans at the same time.

More details here.
