Serial number is not valid : Dreamweaver CS4

Hopefully someone can help me.  I have the Adobe Creative Suite, but also like to use the Dreamweaver CS4.  Recently my Dreamweaver CS4 is giving me an error upon loading, stating that I need to enter a Serial Number.  Once I enter the Serial Number in my Adobe Account for this Product, it says it is invalid.  Wondering what's going on, how this can be corrected?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

    I originally purchased it thru Adobe. When I login to my Adobe account I do see the purchase there, along with the Serial Number they are saying is Invalid. That is a good question about being an upgrade, as Ive been using Dreamweaver for a long time, so it is possible it was an upgrade from a previous version. If that is the case, what can be done, as I would doubt I have a physical copy of anything.

    I suggest you contact Adobe Customer Care directly by phone or online chat.  Perhaps they can shed some light on the problem with your serial number.

    Where did you originally obtain CS4?

    And was this an upgrade from an older version?

    You could try -

    Restore preferences in Dreamweaver CS4, CS5, and CS5.5

    Use the CS Cleaner Tools below followed by a software re-install.

    It may also be that there has been an update to your OS, and this has made CS4 incompatible.

    I gave that a shot but did not fix the issue.  Still getting error to Enter a Valid Serial Number.  Which is something I'm doing, getting it directly from my Adobe Account.
