Hi Martin,

Please follow the steps below:

Windows

Choose Start > Run, type %systemroot% \system32\drivers\etc, and then press Enter.
Right-click the hosts file and select Open. Select Notepad for the application to open the hosts file.
Back up the hosts file: Choose File > Save As, save the file as hosts.backup, and then click OK.
Search the hosts file for entries that reference ADOBE and delete ALL these entries.
Save and close the file.

Mac OS

Log in as an administrator to edit the hosts file in Mac OS.

In a Finder window, choose Go > Go To Folder.
Type /etc.
Select the hosts file and open it.
Back up the hosts file: Choose File > Save As, save the file as hosts.backup, and then click OK.
Search the hosts file for entries that reference ADOBE and delete ALL these entries.
Save and close the file.

I tried this but it still dosent work it dosent let me save the file in the orginal folder and i cant open my creative cloud each time i install it it uninstalls could you help me ?

Hallo zusammen, ich habe das gleiche Problem und werde mittlerweile wahnsinnig

Gibt es keine Anweisung auf deutsch und wieso antwortet niemand vom adobe Support im Chat, bzw. in der ewigen Telefonschleife???

Ich verstehe die Anweisungen nicht auf Englisch - wo finde ich z.B. diese "Host Files" ... arrrggg ...

Noch zur Erläuterung: Ich habe die CC gekauft (Jahresabo), bisher auf meinem MacbookPro problemlos installiert und möchte es nun auch auf meinem stationären Mac nutzen. Wenn ich mich anmelde, wird mir aber (teilweise?) nur die Option "Testversion herunterladen" angeboten.

Auch soll ich eine Lizenzierungsnummer eingeben ... ???

Habe jetzt PS, Br, Id + Acrobat irgendwie zum Laufen bekommen, allerdings sagt mir der Updater, Photoshop würde in 4 Tagen ablaufen usw.

Same Here... Im trying to "activate" my light room... but it is asking for a serial number... and i have payed for PS & Lightroom in a package... PS is working fine... but Lightroom asks for a serial or to start a trial period...

Hello everyone!

I had the same issue on my PC at home, and after a few shots, I managed to fix it following Arnaud's method.

I'm running windows8, and this did the trick;

1. In windows serch menu type run

2. In run, type %systemroot% \system32\drivers\etc - the window should open

3. In opened window serch, type hosts - open file with Notepad

4. Back up the hosts file: Choose File > Save As, save the file as hosts.backup, and then click OK.

5. Search the hosts file for entries that reference ADOBE and delete ALL these entries - delete absolutley everything,

leave only this text;

#

# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.

#

# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each

# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should

# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.

# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one

i "fixed" the hosts file..... nothing say adobe..... and im still having the same problem (mac).... uninstalled, re installed.... and nothing.... it says that i have 5 days left...... nice >.<
