For many years as only user, I installed LR on a desktop and a laptop. Two installations on two computers, software is never used simultaneously. Installing the upgrade to LR6 (standalone, not CC) on my Macbook as second installation didn't accept the installation code. Anyone with the same problem?

Hi Jan,
In order to serialize Lightroom CC trial to activate as Lightroom 6 try the following links.
Kindly respond to this post if you are not able to activate it.
Thanks,

Dear Atul,
Even trying to install it as a trail, the installationsoftware keeps
asking for a serial number.
I noticed during installation that I was asked to sign in with my
Adobe-id, but never asked to supply a password. Upon clicking on 'next',
there is a message that there is no internet connection (not true). A
second click brings me to the field where I can fill in the serial
number. I do this and then the message appears that this serial number
cannot be validated and I should seek contact with customersupport.
I have done this repeatedly, each time with the same result.
Some things to consider;
I used separate downloads of the same installationfile. So I downloaded
twice.
Would deactivation help?
Should I first remove LR5 from my laptop altogether? Installation of a
new versionover a pre-existing one has always worked, btw.
Kind regards,
Jan Wich
