Transfer CS5.5 license between users

Hello. Recently I've bought a second hand Adobe CS5.5 and I want to transfer the license betwen the original user and me.

Adobe support tell me that I have to publish a message here to open a ticket to start the license transfer process.

Any help?

Resuming for anybody with my same problem.

Tell the license porpietary/transferor to speak Adobe first. The license transfer pocess is almost inmediate this way.

If you speak with Adobe (If you are the license recipient), you will spinning almost in a loop without sucess.

Thanks for the update, Ellis, and great point to make sure all required paperwork has been completed to transfer a license as part of the purchase process.

 

Overall, please be very careful if you are attempting to purchase older Adobe software titles. The software is unavailable through our resellers, and there are several risks with utilizing software from 2011 while the year is 2023 or later.

Many thanks for your prompt response. I need a case number and the agent told me that I have to publish here to have that "case number" because Adobe CS5.5 does not have support via chat.

So, without a case number/Support history (Step number 7 of the link) I can't do the process.

Hence here I am... What I should do? Is it a little bit confusing

The support case seems to be tagged about the need to increase the activation count, Ellis, but that is not what you asked about in this public discussion forum. 

 

You can follow the steps offered by Kglad at https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/transfer-product-license.html and complete the form and attach it to your current case ADB-29824397-T2K6. Both you and the seller will need to complete the process before a transfer of license will even be considered.
