Trouble installing Elements 6 on MAC OS 10.5.8

Hi,

I have adobe photoshop elements 6 on dvd purchased form the Adobe store.

I'm trying to install it onto a new'ish Macbook pro with MAC OS 10.5.8.

I know the readme section on the download files says Elements 6 is only downloadable using OS 10.4.8 to 10.5.2 - what can I do to get around this?

Thanks in advance for any help.
