I am trying to reintsall CS3 Photoshop. I already own and have installed CS4 and CS5. When I attempt to install CS3 Photoshop it asks me to insert the Design Premium Disc 1 from CS4. I do this and then it asks me to reinstall Disc 1 from CS3 which I do. But it seems to be caught in a loop. I can't get past this inital state.
What is recommended by Adobe is to uninstall the previous version before installing the newer version.
However in your case you are following the wrong cycle, i.e installing cs5 and cs4 first and then cs3...I would recommend to uninstall cs4 and cs5 and then install cs3 and then re-install cs4 and cs5 respevtively.

What Manish said - you need to obey install order. Not only do older products not know about potential conflicts with newer versions, but also may simply installing old stuff damge your newer versions as well.
