Trying to install Lightroom 5. Get error code 213:10. Library doesn't have "SLStore" folder. What do I do?

I've got an old disc copy of Lightroom 5, but the new laptop doesn't have a disc drive.   I downloaded Lightroom 5 from the Adobe website, but after install it's saying I don't have the proper licensing and gives me error code 213:10.  I looked for support, and it recommends going to the SLStore folder, but the folder doesn't exist in the pathway suggested.  What can I do?

I am having a similar problem.  I am trying to setup a new iMac (with Mojave Mac OS Version 10.14.2).  My Macbook Pro is dying and I am trying to move everything to the iMac.  I was able to successfully install Lr 5.5.  I have a serial # that I enter.  But I saw that there is a newer version 5.7.  I downloaded from the same place kdglad recommended and after installation when opening Lr I get a popup with Error 213:10.  I've been going through all the forums to find what to do.  I do NOT find a SLStore directory to change sharing permission to.  I ended up just uninstalling and going back to 5.5.  Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

enable 'show hidden folders' by googling your os.  then retry changing permissions:

Adobe PCD folder and SLStore folders,  https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/configuration-error.html

using a browser that allows popups and cookies, contact adobe support during pst business hours by clicking here and, when available, click 'chat', https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html

    kglad,

    Did as you suggested.

I am now up with Adobe Lightroom 5.7.1!!!

The secret was the download link.  This is the good one for me as I am not using Creative Cloud:

    https://prodesigntools.com/lightroom-5-ddl-comparison-vs-lr4.html

    Then page down to:

Adobe Lightroom 5 Direct Download Links

    Install was successful!

Of course this time I did something different.  I did not install OVER 5.5.  Instead I uninstalled 5.5 and installed using this dmg directly.

Thank you, kglad, for your time responding to my plea for help.  :-)

    use the 5.71 link below:

note: newer os'es (especially mac os'es) are not compatible with older programs (especially adobe's).  this may help you start your installation, https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/macos-high-sierra-compatibility.html that said, you can download the installation files using the below link.

Single user licensee downloadable installation files available:

    Updates

    • Download and installation help for Adobe links

    • Download and installation help for Prodesigntools links are listed on most linked pages.  They are critical; especially steps 1, 2 and 3 which also apply to eLearning Sute 2.5.  If you click a link that does not have those steps listed, open a second window using the Lightroom 3 link to see those 'Important Instructions'.

And a big thank you to Jim @ Prodesigntools for helping me with these links!

The link for 5.7.1 takes me to the same place I downloaded the original file, which is not working.
