I'm having the same problems, and all anyone tells me is to reinstall Adobe Application Manager. Im on version 6.0.335.0.

BUT when I download 6.2.x from Adobe's site, and double click it, it wont run!  Now I cant upgrade my apps because AAM wont run, and I cant upgrade AAM so Im stuck. I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the entire Master Collection twice.

I have branched this out to a new thread as you are experiencing difficulties installing version 6.2.38 of Adobe Application Manager.  Which operating system are you using?  Do you receive any error messages when you try to install?  What have you attempted so far to resolve your difficulties?

Running 10.7.4 on a 2010 Macbook Air. My existing AAM is launching then freezing, no error message, "Application Not Responding" when i right-click in the dock. When I double click the new AAM installer, 6.2, nothing happens at all. No error, no crash, no bounce.

Ok for your first step I would recommend removing all currently installed Adobe Creative Software utilizing the uninstallers located in the Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers folder.  When the last Application is removed it should also remove the Adobe Application Manager.

If for some reason the Adobe Application Manager is still available in the Application/Utilities/Adobe Application Manager/core folder after you have completed the uninstall then I would recommend utilizing the clean up utilty.  You can find directions on how to use this at CS Cleaner Tool for installation problems | CCM, CS6, CS5.5, CS5, CS4, CS3 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html.

Finally are you using Creative Suite 6 or the Creative Cloud?  If it is the Creative Cloud then please go to https://creative.adobe.com/ and download and install the updated Adobe Application Manager from there.
