Unable to Uninstall Creative Cloud Desktop App with uninstaller

I had really high CPU/memory for Creative Cloud so I followed the instructions here: Uninstall the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application However, upon downloading the Mac uninstaller and clicking the .dmg file, it opened as just a blank folder without any items in it. There's nothing to click to uninstall it. I have the latest version of the Creative Cloud Desktop App, all my Adobe products have been closed/quit. I am using a brand new 27 in desktop Mac with OS Sierra.

retry downloading the uninstaller using a different browser.

Thanks. I tried it but no luck, unfortunately. I tried with Google Chrome and all that happened was that it downloaded a Zip file with the .dmg inside which when clicked, was empty- again.
