Question

Unable to update Premiere Pro CC 7.0.0 to latest version

I am on Mountain Lion running a trial installation of PPro CC 7.0.0

I was having issues with Multicam Sync and recommened I upgrade to the latest version.

However, my CC installer says I am "up to date" and likewise, within PPro CC it says I am up to date if I go to Help-Update. (With version 7.0.0)PP

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling PPro, as well as uninstalling my old copy of PPro CS6.

I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the CC Installer itself per the guide on this help area.

The program opens and runs, and updating gives me no errors. The program just seems confused in thinking that I have the latest version, 7.0.0 (342)

Ay help greatly appreciated, thank you.

    Thanks for responding.

Unfortunately that did not work for me. My issue isn't quite covered by that link. Rather than having my application listed as "Up to Date"  when not installed, I DO have the application installed.

The issue is that I am stuck at version 7.0.0 despite it saying it is 'up to date'.

The one thing in that link I hadn't tried was deleting OPM.db before reinstalling. Unfortunately that has not helped.

I am guessing Adobe is still keeping some files saved somewhere, or is it possible a firewall setting is preventing Creative Cloud installer from seeing the latest vesrion?

Thanks Hans - do you happen to know what the file path would be on a Mac? (OS X)

Hello here the same thing for a Mac:

    1. Applications/utilities/Adobe Installers and uninstall CC desltop

    2. Navigate to Library/Application Support/Adobe and rename OOBE/CAPS/Backup.

    3. Install CC desktop and try to download/install apps.

    Good luck!

    P.S.

I have to leave the house for two hours, don't be surprised if I can't answer for the next time.
