I know that Adobe offers a discount for students but how about unemployed artists.  I’m an artist who is currently looking for work and I need the Adobe suite more than ever to create new content and website for my portfolio. Shelling out $53 a month right now without a paycheck seems like a lot of money. Adobe if your reading this please consider a discount for the unemployed.

That would be completely impossible to enforce. Everyone in the world will claim to be 'unemployed', and there is no way for Adobe to prove otherwise.

There are free or low-cost alternatives to many Adobe applications (GIMP, Resolve, Affinity, etc.) and while they may not have all the same features, they're usually good enough for people who don't need to collaborate.

I can prove unemployment with my unemployment benefits paperwork from the state. Students have to prove they are students, the same would apply to this situation.

Students are usually students for 1 to 3 years or more. It's quite a stable community with lots of potential ongoing customers for Adobe when students go in to the workforce.

There are degrees of unemployment. Unemployment status can change tomorrow. Governments have a hard enough time verifying unemployment status. Means testing would be a huge burden for Adobe to administer.

There is no such discount at this time. Feel free to submit an official feature request to Adobe

Do you know of any other software companies offering such a discount?
