Try by going to the CC desktop application (in the menu bar on a Mac, or task bar in Windows). Click the gear icon > Preferences > General > Sign Out. Then Sign In with your Adobe ID.

been onto Adobe on the phone and had zero help there as all they do is point to the website, which then points to this forum.

CS5 has never been tested on Windows 10. Windows 10 didn't even exist when CS5 hit the market.

It might be not compatible and this will get worse with every Windows update.

Stay with Windows 8 if you don't want to upgrade your Adobe apps.

Some people claim they got CS5 to run on Windows 10. You might want to search the forum for their procedure for installing it. You're basically on your own and depending on people who have successfully installed.

Thanks Monika

The first link had a link to update the Application Manager itself, and that appears to have worked, the updates are uploading and installing fine (I think).

Now though I have the cloud thing appearing everywhere, so I will have to get rid of all that now

cheers

Hi Rajashree

Thanks but I don't think these two links help me; I don't have Creative Cloud, I don't want Creative Cloud, I cant use Creative Cloud stuff as corporate policy here we cant use external servers.

I have good old local install

Which link do you think is the solution?
Where on the linked-page should I be looking for the solution?
