Updating Extension Manager 6.0.5 for Photoshop CS6 Mac

I just ran an update on Adone Application Manager and received the folloc error:

Extension Manager 6.0.5 Update

Installation failed. Error Code: U44M1P7

I changed the permissions of "Adobe Extension Manager CS6" to read and write.

Noticed an Adobe folder in Applications. Changed the name to Adobe old, thinking perhaps it was an older version from CS4. But no luck.

Any assistance, much appreciated.

    Thanks Ned

I followed the second link, which advise to download/install extension manager 6.0 and then download/install extension manager 6.2. Unfortunately there wasn't a version included in their link.

However I manually installed 6.0.5. I am now told that all updates are up to date. But there ia still a yellow triangle with exclamation mark within Photoshop in my Adobe Exchange window. When I hover over the exclamation it tells me an Adobe Extension Manger Update is required. Bizzar.

Thanks for your help. I'm in a much better situation than before.

Tried installing a product through Adobe Exchange:

"You must install a newer version of Adobe Extension Manager to install this item. Once the upgrade is complete, you can install your item from the 'My Stuff' tab.

Would you like to go update Extension Manager now?

    Obviously answered YES:

Message -"Your applications are all up-to-date as checked: less than a minute ago.

    Now I'm confused!!!
