Would Adobe have invalidated all licenses older than CS6?  I have been using CS3 out of convenience because I knew it better.  A couple weeks ago it stopped working saying it was a licensing problem.  After posting questions, I tried other suggestions which did not work. Then I was contacted by chat with "Phil" with Adobe out of India, he just wanted to sell me CS6.  I told him I paid good money and wanted my CS3 and I do not have $ to buy up.

I consented to have him remote in to my pc, he stated said he would check it out.  Next he said he could remove CS and reinstall.  I told him no, just look at it and let me know.  To my horror, he suddenly begin trying to delete my CS programs.  I deactivated the link.  He kept contacting me about let him on, he won't delete it.  But I said I did not trust someone who already lied to me once. I cannot believe Adobe would stoop to such tactics.  Or is it just a rogue representative?  The other customer representatives have always been above board and helpful with other issues.

He contacted me via chat on this site. then remoted in.

If he contacted me via chat on Adobe, I expect that is legitimate.

‌I understand that all upgrades to CS6 have to be done by users contacting Adobe directly.

Please report back with your operating system if you are able to buy CS6
