Hello

Will i loose my Plug-ins if i upgrade from PSE8 to PSE 11?

You will not "lose" them since your install of PSE 8 will remain in place until you uninstall it yourself, but the plug-ins probably won't be compatible, anyway, and you will need to upgrade them with the respective PSE 11 compatible versions from the original vendors.

But i will still be able to use them in PSE8 if i dont uninstall that version?

Yes. All major versions of Adobe products install into separate folders and leave any previous version untouched (safe for updating globally shared componenents) and their licensing operates independently from each otehr, so your PSE 8 will remain functional until the day you choose to part with it...

Hello again

I have a similar question again. I got an IMac now, in the app store i can download PSE 10. Havent checket out if i can download 11. But my question is, i have downloaded all my photo plug ins from 8 from the pc windows to an external hard drive and was wondering if, once i downloaded PSE 10 or 11, i can copy them into the Mac Photoshop Elements so i can use all the plug ins there as well. I really hate to loose them. Or would i have to download 8  for mac to be able to use them? Or will i actually loose them because they are not compatible for Mac?
