usb backup to cloud storage?

Never had this problem before.  Guess I should have bought a bigger Mac.

My Adobe photo library is outgrown my 1 TB SSD storage on my MacBook Pro.   I am going to move the libraries to a 5TB USB drive linked to the Adobe Applications for processing.  Obviously, off the shelf USB drives are not the professional drives that are in the Apple's notebooks.   So, to avoid losing years of photo processing I will need to back up the USB drive to Cloud Storage.  Could you suggest a cloud backup system and backup software?

I do use Time machine to backup my MacBooks SSD alternately  to two 2 TB USB drives.  Doubtful if they both would fail at the same time.

Thanks,

Howie

Well, perhaps you should start by using something other than TimeMachine in the first place. Beyond that it's merely a matter of what you are willing to pay. Still, that doesn't mean that they would be any more "safe" than local backups. You are also mistaken - it doesn't matter whether you have "professional" drives. Even cheap drives can last forever under the assumption that you really only use them for backups, store them safely and don't wear them out by letting them run al lthe time like regular drives. You know, replication is just as much a backup strategy and if you think that two identical backups don't cut it, then you can always get more cheap drives to create a third, fourth and fifth copy. Of course none of that does you any good when you store them all in the same place and then your house burns down or gets blown away by a hurrican...
