What plan should I choose? I fit into 3 different categories. Is there a definition of what a customer clarifies as?

Hi

I need help in working out what plan to go with as I fit into three different categories. I looked and there is no real different clarification between Student, Individual and Business.

Most will say go the cheapest but I want to know what I can apply for without getting into trouble from adobe's legal team.

I am a student with a student ID card but I plan / am wanting to try and start my own individual art / freelance art business.

When adobe says individual – does that apply to a free-lance artiest?

Or is a free lance artiest a business even though it is just one person?

I am tempted to go with the student plan while I have an ID and am starting out (No guarantee of being successful)

But is that okay by Adobe’s rule?

If you qualify as a student you can get the student plan. This is a discount for one year. You can, somehow, get a lower continuing discount as long as you continue to be a student.

Businesses or individuals can use the individual plan. The main difference is how the plan is managed. An individual plan belongs to the individual, and the business cannot cancel or change it, which is not suitable for most businesses with bosses and employees.

Go with a student plan since you're eligible. You can use it commercially as a freelancer. Plenty of people use a student plan that way.

As mentioned above Adobe's Business plans are intended for organisations with multiple employees. Individual plans are each tied to individual email addresses. Business plans have centrally managed licenses and admin consoles for administrators to centrally deploy and re-deploy applications as staff come and go. Helps with license auditing. None of that is required by a freelancer.

Well that is for perpetual. Subscription can‘t be resold. But the account is personal. You can‘t take a subscription and let work multiple persons with the same subscription.
