What's the difference between my longtime Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Creative Cloud

Help!

I'm confused; I'm asked to purchase [or renew] Creative Cloud; I do not use photography in any online activities; if I terminate, by not renewing; will I also lose my Acrobat [which I need for business?

I have no idea if this is the correct method of getting an answer; but I sure hope so.

Many thanks,

Kay

Cloud programs are by subscription, so you pay a monthly fee... just like renting an apartment

Previous programs came with a  serial number to install, just like buying a car and being given a key

Do you have a serial number version... and which one?

John, very helpful; thanks!

I'm hoping this means that by not renewing Creative Cloud, I will still have Adobe Reader .

If I'm wrong, I hope someone will let me know.

thanks, again
