I have Cloud running on my work computer and tried to install on my home computer (Win 7). When I launch an app, I am asked to license the software and sign in with my Adobe ID. I do this but am then asked for a serial number. I never received one with my order. Where can I find it?
Hi skootmcl,
There is no serial number concept for the Creative Cloud, Adobe ID is used to instead of Serial number when installing the Creative Cloud applications.
If you are being prompt to enter the serial number then you computer is unable to connect to Adobe Server to authenticate the purchase under your Adobe ID.
Please follow the steps: -

Thanks,
Manish

OK I followed all steps on that page. I was able to connect to https://ims-na1.adobelogin.com/renga-idprovider/resources/img/logos.png to see the two logos but was not able to connect to https://lm.licenses.adobe.com/. I reset my hosts file, checked the certificate, and went through my firewall and router. I can't find anything that is preventing me from seeing https://lm.licenses.adobe.com/. My apps still will not register.
I also followed the last link to https://exception.licenses.adobe.com/aoes/aoes/v1/t1?locale=en to enable offline registration but these directions do not apply to CC. I see no screen that allows me to begin offline registration.

I have also tried bypassing my router by plugging my computer's ethernet jack directly into my cable modem. I also disabled my firewall and ran in safe mode, still no connection. No other computer in my house can connect to https://lm.licenses.adobe.com/ either.

Skootmcl if you still cannot connect to https://lm.licenses.adobe.com/ with a direct connection then you will want to contact your Internet Service Provider. I would recommend that you verify your DNS setting with them to start.
When you do connect to https://lm.licenses.adobe.com/ through a web browser you will receive the message, "Congratulations! You have successfully connected to Adobe License Management Server."
