Where can I find the dowload link for Acobat Distiller ?? or does it come with Acrobat X Pro package. I'm confused as typing Distiller does not lead me anywhere but shows links for Adobe DC or Acrobat X Pro

Hi,

Where can I find the dowload link for Acobat Distiller or does it come with Acrobat X Pro package.

I'm confused as typing Distiller in search does not lead me anywhere but shows links for Adobe DC or Acrobat X Pro

The link I could find mentioning Distiller is

http://help.adobe.com/en_US/acrobat/X/pro/using/WS58a04a822e3e50102bd615109794195ff-7f20.w.html

Does this mean its included in the Adobe X Pro package and I have to get this whole package??

Please help.

Thanks.

Hello axdogra,

Distiller is the component of Acrobat that handles the PostScript to PDF conversion. There is no stand-alone Distiller product. Distiller comes packaged with Acrobat. There was once Distiller Server for high volume conversion of PostScript to PDF but this has been discontinued and replaced with Adobe LiveCycle.

Datalogics Inc. (www.datalogics.com) carries a similar product called Adobe Normalizer which is essentially Distiller without the GUI interface. You can go to the Datalogics website here: http://www.datalogics.com/products/pdf/normalizer/ for a 30 day free trial of the software. Just click on the "Start Your Free Trial" button on the page.

Hope this helps.
