Virtual greetings.
I have the CS6 Production Premium software, running on a Windows 7 PC and currently everything is fine. However, in about 2 years time I want to upgrade my PC and migrate to Windows 10. I want to continue using my current CS6 Apps on that new computer.
The problem is that some time ago, there was an option to manually download the application patch/update files from within the application or by using the Adobe Software Manager. At the time I managed to download most of the relevant patches from the Adobe web site, but not all. Some of these files were labelled as trial versions, so I'm not even sure if they were the correct ones. That option (link) seems to have disappeared.
I'm asking this question now because I recently read somewhere that by the time I'm ready to reinstall my CS6 on a new computer, the automated service that Adobe provides for updating/patching ye olde applications such as CS6, may no longer be available, which has me rather concerned.
Can anyone please advise me regarding my best course of action regarding the above problem?
BTW, subscribing to the new & improved CC apps is not an option due to severe financial restrictions.
Thank you in advance for any help.

A supplementary question in relation to the first one:
If there are multiple patches for any one application, do they need to be installed in chronological order, or does the final patch contain all the previous updates?
Oh, and thank you for your initial response. It was exactly what I was looking for. 🙂

most of those updates are roll-ups, meaning they include previous updates so you only need to apply the latest update.
anyway, you'll find out when you try to apply the latest. if there's an error about not having an updateable program, you'll need to update sequentially.
