Hi everyone,

Adobe newbie here.

I want to create a text logo for my YouTube channel to be used as a basic profile picture, animated intro to my videos and also add it to the botton corner of the videos as well as the end scene.

Im not trying to do anything too fancy. I want to just type my username in a bubble type 3D font.

Problem is I dont know where to begin.

Can i just do this all in after effects since a majority of what I'm trying to do is animate the text a bit.

Or do I create the title in illustrator and thencecport to after effects?

If you are just wanting this to be an animated thing, After Effects would be a great place for it

Hi! First off, welcome to Adobe! You can achieve what you're trying to accomplish with After Effects. I would suggest checking out some online video tutorials to help get you started. Don't despair if it seems a bit overwhelming at first! I know I was a bit intimidated when I first started using Adobe products, but there are many resources out there to help! Best of luck to you!
