Recently, my employer sprung for Creative Cloud. I've been very happy using it at work. Since I do a fair amount of work from home, it's especially useful.
Or it would be if I could figure out how to install all the software I need. I've been able to install five or six of the apps already (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and Bridge among them), but I get the following issues:
Ironically, I uninstalled my old versions of those programs specifically because CC renders them obsolete. My PC is powerful enough to run this software, but I really don't know how to progress. I tied up my computer the last two nights attempting to install these items and don't have a clue what to do.
Please let me know if there's anything I can do to provide further information, such as pull an error log or what have you.
Thanks in advance,
Matt

As per the logs it seems the installation freezes when repairing Adobe Help.
Could you move the C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Help folder to the desktop and then continue the installation and check.

you can try a direct download but if you have network problems, a direct download won't help.
if you follow all 7 steps, you can dl a trial via one of the links on this page: http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cc-direct-download-links.html
and activate with your adobe id
if you have a dl problem, you didn't follow all 7 steps. typically, failure to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 is the problem.

I have confirmed that I have no network problems. In fact, I very speedily installed Premiere and Photoshop immediately before trying to install Fireworks again (through the CC launcher). Then, remembering my failure to download Fireworks, I closely followed those instructions you provided.
I downloaded the compressed file, opened it, unpacked the thing into a folder, and began installing. Then, around 5% done (at the installation of help files), it choked - sat there for an hour. I had to kill it with the Task Manager. I don't know what the deal is with that one application...
At the moment, I'm back in the CC launcher, letting it sit at 54% again in the hopes that it will magically work if I just wait all freakin' day. I'm patient. I can wait.

Hi Mwarren,
In CC desktop apps, the first 50% is the indicator for status of download and then rest 50% is for install.
It is hard to say what exactly is happening at 54% through CC desktop apps as the installation is happening silently unlike older version where se we can see what process or software installation is happening.
If you could please share the Installer logs then it could help us diagnose the issue,
You can find the installer logs at
• Windows 32 bit (XP, Vista, 7): \Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Installers\
• Windows 64 bit (XP, Vista, 7): \Program Files(x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Installers
• Mac OS: /Library/Logs/Adobe/Installers/
NOTE :- Do not paste the logs here , put it on http://pastebin.com and provide the link here.

Hi Manish,
Here is my install log from yesterday evening. Just for added context, note that I let the CC-launcher run overnight. When I returned to the computer this morning, it was still at 54%.
I have two others sitting in that Installers folder. Let me know if I should put those up, too.
Thanks for taking a look.
