I´ve used this product (Photoshop Elements 9) for more than a year (and it´s legally bought).

Suddenly (a couple og days ago I could no longer start it.

The licenceinformation popped up and I was asked for the serial number. I filled it in but nothing happened (I started thie discussion a couple of days ago but I haven´t got any response).

What is the problem???

is your license for englsh (north america)?

if not, see if you can change that combobox to the country that matches your license and if you can then license pse 9.

No, it´s for Swedish but I change the screenshot to english so you could read the text.

I bougt this package ifrom a swedish seller ncluding both Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements 9

When I come home tonight I can check if the short manual is in english or in swedeish.

I will now leave the office and will be at home within 2 hours.

What do you meen by "change the combobox"?

the combobox is where it says English (North America).

i infer that when you change that to swedish > click accept > you enter your license number > the pse dialog closes and nothing happens.  then when you reopen pse 12, you see the same sequence.

if that's not true, explain what you're seeing/doing that differs from the above.

if that is true, you should uninstall, manually clean (http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/kb/manually-remove-photoshop-elements-9.html) and then reinstall.

if you need the installation file and if you follow all 7 steps, you can download a trial via one of the links on this page using a browser that accepts cookies:  http://prodesigntools.com/photoshop-elements-9-premiere-elements-9-direct-download-links.html

and activate with your serial number.

if you have a download problem, you didn't follow all 7 steps.  typically, failure to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 is the problem, but your browser must also allow cookies so that's (a restrictive browser setting) another potential source of problems.

attach a screenshot of the message you see when trying to start whatever adobe product is causing a problem, http://forums.adobe.com/message/4209263#4209263

if the product name isn't mentioned in the screenshot, what product?
