Why i am paying so much than before

Hello Adobe,

Can someone get back to me and explain why i am paying nearly $50 for the Adobe when i am a student. When i signed up couple years ago i was only paying $14.95 and now twice as much. I took screenshots so that you can see. I am a student at Curtin University and i was told when i signed up that i will pay a student rate. Not sure what i am paying anymore and why not just a education licence?

i would like someone to get back to me with this query as i find a $44 too much for me to pay and thinking to give up on Adobe products after using them for over 3 years.

Kind regards, Valeria

There are two reasons for that price increase.

1. You paid initially less because this was the "Promotional pricing for first year".

As written in the terms, which can be found on the pricing table:

Students and teachers: Save 70% off Creative Cloud for a limited time. Hurry, offer ends <DD MONTH YEAR>

Introductory Pricing Terms and Conditions

A$21.99/month (GST inclusive) Creative Cloud Introductory Pricing - save 70% in the first year

*Offer starts on MONTH DAY, YEAR and expires on MONTH DAY, YEAR. Eligible students (aged 13 years and older) and teachers can save 70% off our standard All Apps Adobe® Creative Cloud™ price when they purchase an annual membership to Adobe® Creative Cloud™ at a reduced price of A$21.99/month (GST inclusive) for the first year. At the end of the first year (and each year after that), we will renew your contract automatically for another year at the then-current standard monthly student and teachers price, which will be calculated annually at 40% off our standard All Apps Adobe® Creative Cloud™ price. Your membership will not automatically renew if you cancel your membership prior to the end of any membership year.

40% off of the "All Apps" plan makes A$43,99.

2. Adobe increased pricing last year, as currency exchange rates have fluctuated significantly over the last few years.

Even when i go to try to subscribe for the cheaper (same) option, Adobe is saying that i have this already in my plan. So why charging me $20 more? I am not happy with this at all. Have tried to cancel my membership today, but there is no option on your website. I have to make an International call (which i have to pay with dollars) so someone can cancel it on your end. No wonder people are using different products, because your website is so difficult, over priced, and usually eats all the RAM. I am not ahppy at all.
