Hi,
My laptop is MacPro.
When I type the serial number, it says that we are unable to verify the serial number with the CS6 Design and Web Premium. What's wrong with it?!
And I really need your help, please!
I am waiting for your reply. Thank you very much!!
HI hanyangzi,
Please rename the hosts file. Hosts to Hosts.old and try activating Adobe apps.
Regards,
Ashish

Hi hanyangzi,
This error occurs when we try to validate Adobe serial key in proxy environment or if you are in open network, Please check the hosts file from below location.
Go>go to folder>\etc, open hosts file in text edit and if you find any entries for Adobe then rename the hosts file and try to validate serial key.
Additionally, turn of your MAC firewall or antivirus while validating the Adobe serial key.
If your are in a ristricated network, I would suggest to whitelist below Adobe's links and ports on your network firewall.
ccmdls.adobe.com:443
ims-na1.adobelogin.com:443
na1r.services.adobe.com:443
prod-rel-ffc-ccm.oobesaas.adobe.com:443
lm.licenses.adobe.com:443
ccmdl.adobe.com:80
swupmf.adobe.com:80
swupdl.adobe.com:80
Let us know if it helps.
Regards,
Ashish

Hi,
Thank you for your reply. Belows are my hosts. And after I delete the entries, it still didn't work. And I don't know how to post the links you mentioned on my firewall. Could you say something more specifically? Thank you very much!

Hi hanyangzi,
Please reset the host file and try to activate again.
Mac OS:
Log in as an administrator to edit the hosts file in Mac OS.
In a Finder window, choose Go > Go To Folder.
Type /etc.
Select the hosts file and open it.
Back up the hosts file: Choose File > Save As, save the file as hosts.backup, and then click OK.
Search the hosts file for entries that reference activate.adobe.com (for example, 127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com) and delete these entries.
Save and close the file.
Regards,
Romit Sinha
