Why pdf portfolio saves as website still uses flash

Hello,

I am wondering why pdf portfolio save as website  still uses flash. Flash is not supported in most browsers and Flash will be end of life within a few years.

In the Adobe CC there is Adobe Portfolio, so skip the option in Adobe Acrobat of export to svg or html5.

Please let me know.

Regards

What exact version of Acrobat (not “latest” please) something like 2016.123.64457 or 11.3.12?

When did Flash stop being supported in most browsers?  As far as I know it is still quite functional in most.

A valid question.   Flash is essentially dead as it inches closer to  end-of-life in 2020.   My browsers haven't supported NPAPI plugins like Flash Player for more than 1 year.  And my mobile devices never supported Flash.

I have not used PDF portfolio to create a website.   But if it outputs to Flash without HTML5 fallbacks, I would have serious reservations about using it.

Look at Adobe Portfolio instead.  It's an online website hosted on Adobe's servers.  Adobe Portfolio comes free with most Creative Cloud plans.
