Why there is no monthly plan in China mainland?
Any other region in this planet can provide monthly plan at a reasonable price, but in China mainland there is only annual plan provided by greedy dealers. One single application will cost as much as a PC, and remember that is only for one year permit. In this condition, only few people will purchase because individuals usually cannot afford it.
Why there isn't a reasonable monthly plan for individual in China mainland? It is the biggest market in this world.
Think about this: World of Warcraft run by Netease has a ï¿¥75($10.87) monthly plan which works well in China mainland in 2019, it is a 15-year old game and that is still profitable. I do not have an exact data about how many players WOW still have right now, but I am pretty sure there must be more designers than WOWers in China mainland, dozens of times.
Besides above, Steam is also a good example. China mainland PC players used to enjoying downloading pirate games, but when Steam adjusted the price for China mainland, pirate games almost die out in few years.Nowadays, people in online community will courage others to purchase genuine games instead of sharing free download links.
I really think Adobe Company should provide a acceptable monthly plan for individuals in China mainland. Despite the improvement of people's living standards, we have not reached the level of developed countries. We can only purchase what we can afford but we are willing to purchase if it is reasonable. Consider the amount of China's population, an acceptable monthly plan will be a Win-Win situation for both of us.
