Why these all softwares has tools or Toolbars on left side ?

Hello ,

one question came in my mind 2 days ago , questions is " Why these all softwares has tools or Toolbars on left side " From last 2 days i m continuously searching for this bt cant find answer , if anyone knows the answer please do me a favour.

I've been using Photoshop and Illustrator for 20+ years.  Toolbars have ALWAYS been on the left side.  No sense upsetting the apple cart after all these years.  Also toolbars on the left is better UI/UX for mobile and tablet devices.

As ar as I know about the only program that Adobe offers that does not allow the movement of the tools is LR Classic.

 

All others do allow the user to move all dialog, tool, boxes around.

Yes sure sir but question in my mind is why default tools or toolbar is located in left side. why not in right side or top or bottom.
