would like help with downloading my subscription.... Every attempt to access my software -- or get help -- is blocked by the utter worthlessness of this website.  Worst ever.  Worst of all the tech sites anywhere, ever

Not sure what you are having trouble with. While I agree that Adobe's website may be confusing at times, all you need to do is click on your name, then move on to your global Adobe profiel and look up your subscriptions there. Then you install the application manager and sign in and let it handle things. as an alternative, AAM can be downloaded from here as well:

Adobe - Adobe Application Manager : For Windows

Adobe - Adobe Application Manager : For Macintosh

I completely agree, this is the worst and most frustrating website i've ever been on. Its taken me 5 months to renew my subscription because of sheer lack of user ability and all the broken links. Sort it out Adobe.

Totally agree.  I was trying to download Flash Media Live Encoder today, and after clicking download page, you got a broken page.  Someone complained about it already, and it's been several days, still no fix.  The website is difficult to navigate - heavy, confusing and slow.

Which Adobe product are you trying to download?

    Which operating system?

    Which browser?

What URL are you downloading from?

What do you mean by "blocked"? Any error messages?
